According to a report posted tonight on the website of The Wall Street Journal, CNN is considering replacing Kathleen Parker, co-host of the ratings-challenged Parker Spitzer. The WSJ story quotes unnamed sources who say a new co-host could be named to join Eliot Spitzer as part of a major overhaul of the show, which has floundered in the ratings since its debut three months ago.
CNNs primetime programs performed poorly in 2010, which marked the networks worst ratings performance in fourteen years.
Whether a re-boot of Parker Spitzerand a resulting name change, one imagineswould solve any of the networks problems remains unclear. CNN told the WSJs Sam Schechner we arent going to engage in speculation
the show continues to improve and we think it is a good addition to our lineup.

Should replace them both. They are awful.
Client #9 is a blithering idiot, and Parker is a half step behind him.
Eliot Spitzer is a pig and I for one would NEVER watch his show. Parker should consider herself fortunate to get free from his narcissistic mouth breathing clutches.
No, it would only be interesting if a conservative were laying the hammer on Elliott. Two conservatives would be boring.
