I wished that Phelps would get rid of the word “Baptist” from the name of his church. Every “Baptist” I know, and I am Baptist, is frothing mad at Phelps and his church and wish they would shut up and go away.

I am from Tucson but am currently deployed. I would be there to stand between him and her funeral if I could be.

The thing I find strange is that all of the talking heads on FOX keep saying that there was plenty of evidence that the shooter was a "nut" well in advance, and that "somebody" should have "done something" to prevent the tragedy.

I contend that there is ample evidence that the Phelps clan is whacko. Rather than doing something, the Left defends their right to "Free Speech" simply because they are primarily known for protesting the funerals of military personnel... who the left HATE.

That would be an extremely dangerous thing to do on their part considering that the little girl's father is calling for the gunman's execution. He just might turn that anger around on them.

The mother of the little girl that was murdered would not be someone I would cross at this time...I believe from what I heard with her interview on FoxNews yesterday that she is not to be trifled with...

I believe the potential for violence instigated from the Westboro Baptist Church folks is a clear and present danger and that all precautions should be taken to prepare for their arrival...

I would tell the WBC folks that this might not be something you should do, turn around now, or face the consequences...

I don't know from where Democrat Phelps gets his marching orders, but one suspects some left wing buddies within the Democratic party, n'est ce pas?
