...”Sure, just like the Juntas and Politburos of yesteryear”...

This is the best description of who they are and they MUST NOT be allowed to perpetuate their vile intentions. Do not budge, America..It is your/our freedom at stake and the exploitation of this horrific tragedy for the purpose of stifling political opposition is the lowest of the low. Pray that our new Congress will contain more Statesmen/women than political opportunists. Pray for them to have the strength and courage to stand against a political minority which will promote anti-American rhetoric and new law stifling free speech, all of which will be coming our way in the next few days.

The Left wants to muzzle conservatives. In the name of civility, tolerance and peace of course. Since according to them, only one side gets the right to be vitriolic. Every one else had better sit down and shut up.

That script is so predictable.

Where are the high profile conservatives that will respond to this leftist attempt to blame the right? They should be blaming atheism, leftism, and drugs. This guy was an apparently an atheist, leftist, drugy who liked the Communist Manifesto.

The “Today” show just ran their intro on the shooting, and showed Palin on the screen. Unreal.

If Sarah Palin had for some reason been at this event with Ms. Giffords, this guy would probably have shot SP first.

Above all, freedom of speech protects the right to dissent against government. Someone help me understand how we can dissent without someone who favors government power feeling it is “vitriolic”?

I had to turn Good Morning America Off this morning, I am shocked at their naked attempts to blame the shootings on Sarah Palin. Even going as far as commenting she has “Blood on Her Hands”. The attempts at indoctrination by the MSM these last two days reminds me of Alice in Wonderland.
Now I read the Dems want a law making it illegal to “threaten” lawmakers, and I wonder if this is code for disagree, and/or be critical of lawmakers policies.
America is on a very slippery slope with such policies, and there are already laws against threatening people.
