(article ) “He was very into the knowledge aspect of school. He was really into his philosophy classes and he was really into logic and English. “

Too bad he was severely deficient in both logic and English.
I’ve read some of his rants, and they follow the same distinct pattern.

(article) “He frequently used “if-then” constructions in making nonsensical arguments.”

His ‘if-then’ constructions were perfect examples of a limited understanding of logic. They were truncated versions of ACTUAL logic and reasoning methods. It is obvious this young man had some ‘education’ but that the alcohol poisoning (which he almost DIED from) damaged his brain, leaving him with ‘short-circuited’ thought processes.

The IF-THEN scenario he uses is not a ‘logical’ argument. It is simply a two sentence rationalization of a conclusion. That he uses the same invalid reasoning tactic over and over, is a big red flag.

If he drank enough to kill himself , then he drank enough to damage his brain.

WHAT I FIND ODD..................... No one has made a mention yet of his parents. Where were they? Does he even have both, or any parents?
