Interesting you brought up Lennon. Loughner was apparently fixated on Giffords since 2007- much the same way Mark David Chapman was fixated on Lennon for a long time. I guess they just get “it in their heads” and then it’s only a matter of time. Scary.
Just like Hinkley was fixated on Jodie Foster.
