Probably depends on the drug. If he got caught smoking pot, it’s a pretty minor offense. If he’s caught with something harder like cocaine or oxycontin, he would probably face felony charges and would then be ineligible if convicted.

Maybe this will wake up some people that we need to reverse tracks bigtime when it comes to this drug and slam on the felonies for any amount.

Naw, easier to go after the tea party or something.
