TEHRAN, Iran – An IranAir passenger jet carrying 106 people crashed as it was making an emergency landing Sunday in a snowstorm in the country's northwest and broke into several pieces, killing 71 of those on board, Iranian media reported. The others survived with light injuries.

The earlier story mentioned snow hampering rescue efforts. I'll confess I didn't read this one.
I think the number may be down to 33 or 32 now.
Though they'll doubtful ever hear of it, my condolences to the families who's kin were lost.
According to this website, the number of injured survivers is down to 26 with 2 missing.
