The shooter was a hard core leftie moonbat pothead. He has a long trail of evidence for that on his twitter etc. The moderate Dem congresscritter was too far to the right for him.

However he also was for the "constitution" and gold backed currency. He was a mixed up guy - as his postings show.

Some people who are predisposed to schizophrenia will develop full blown schizophrenia in response to marijuana. It is a trigger for it. This guy sounded a whole like one of those cases:

Paranoid schizophrenia triggered by pot is my conclusion.

Sounds like a fascinating job! I worked in magazine publishing (as an editor), where we had a month to turn around an issue. A daily paper must be even more of a whirlwind!

It also reminds me of “register marks” used on printing plates to check image alignment. Certainly has nothing to do with crosshairs in a telescopic sight, only someone who has never looked in a riflescope would think so.

Actually, given reports from Loughner’s erstwhile classmates, it seems Congresswoman Giffords was specifically the target: Loughner met her before and seems to have had a three-year long obsession with her.

....the judge was shot first and killed..Judge “Green” was his name, I believe. The reason I remember is someone on FR at the onset suggested he may have been the target—and I blew them off from the reports, but then when thinking about it, perhaps there was something there. The killer did have a record ? (am trying to reflect). I guess location of the victims set the judge up first to be killed? Because the terrorist walked up and shot Giffords in the [back] of the head? Giffords was just focused by the media and has continued to be said the target. She had voted against Pelosi. What I remember was the killer had supported Giffords and was upset that she had changed her position. The Left wing media [MSNBC] and more liberal supporters were very tumultuous in their rehtoric toward Obama and the more moderates like Giffords moved closer to the Right.

It has become widely accepted for both sides to be in highly charged exchange of party rhetoric, but this President has set the stage by the remarks he has continuously made against Republicans, not just those that represent the country, but The People have been targeted by Obama...Clinton and Bush had never used the strong "fighting" language, which many could take as threatening, like Obama has.

Obama is not no gentleman, he cannot lead, he has lost the respect of the majority of voters, he's inept, he coninuously vacations on The People's money when they are jobless and freely spends like there is no tomorrow ..the media that supported him he has made look like fools, dumping the long time supporters like MSNBC for Jon Stewart. He's a user. All a reflection on the path he has put this country on--a wrecking ball left hanging by an unraveling cable.

I've read on FR yesterday, but haven't researched it, that the murdered judge had recently ruled in favor of illegal aliens who were suing a rancher who had detained them on his property until ICE could arrive.

I have NOT verified the veracity of this, but it seems that the judge's name could have been "all over" local talk radio for quite some time before his assassination.

Jared took a taxi cab to the Safeway -- we need to learn WHERE Jared was picked up -- because the judge was NOT planniing on attending this Meet-n-Greet, it was a spontaneous idea as he drove home from church and noticed Gabby's signs about the event.

I'm not sure that Loughner had the presence of mind to stalk a judge, while riding in a taxi cab, going to a different church than the one the judge typically went to mass in, EVERY SINGLE MORNING, and then following him to Gabby's event.

There's a thread about him being OBSESSED and fixated on Gabrielle Giffords, and in that thread I learned that she had recently married her astronaut husband, I'll find it and ping you to it.
