Jared Loughner's statements tied to conspiracy theory

Jared Lee Loughner’s rants about grammar and mind control track closely to the writings of a conspiracy theorist who believes that is how the government controls the populace, one leading group says – and the man tells POLITICO he agrees with some of Loughner’s statements.

The far-right activist, David Wynn Miller, said in a telephone interview that he didn’t know Loughner, but agreed with his statement in a YouTube video that “the government is implying mind control and brainwash on the people by controlling grammar.”

“Absolutely I would agree with it,” said Miller, 62, a former tool-and-die maker from Milwaukee who claims 1 billion “students” worldwide.

But he said any suggestion that his writings influenced Loughner to go on a shooting rampage is “ridiculous.”

“I have nothing to do with anything like that,” Miller said, suggesting that Loughner might have been under the influence of government mind control.

The media is circling the wagons...trying to “imply” that the killer was a right-winger! Notice how a “leaked” memo sent to the press from DHS said that he might be tied to an anti-government group!

That's an interesting find ~ that the "grammar Nazis" have their own website. I'd suppose the "spelling Nazis" also have one.

Several times in the last few months during various periods of blindness and near blindness I've found myself in meaningless debates with such people ~ not just spelling nazis who were upset that I wasn't editing my stuff before posting it (which is hard to do when you're blind), and others who are really upset about how I sometimes put together sentences that start at the right end and move left rather than the other way around (which is fun to do).

So, they are real, and Jared is of their cadre.

I don’t understand how a man who appreciates The Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf being anti-government. Both are pro-big government.

If the elitista in Wash DC and the MSM want to know why they are losing the peoples’ trust, the way this incident is being treated is another good example.

It’s not grammar that the “government/MSM” is trying to control, it is the language used to describe social conditions. A recent example of this was the recent story of AP guidelines to discourage the use of terms like “illegal alien” in favor of “undocumented worker”.

All of these seems surreal to me and I don’t know what to believe.
