Nothing subtle about Shep accusing the Tea Party. Just wrote him DEMANDING an apology and suggest freepers do likewise. Man should report the facts and not insinuations.

I'm still outraged over Shep Smith's "reporting" today... the guy should be fired. Did you notice the other reporters like Bret Baier and new guy Doug McElway (sp?) had to keep bringing Shep back to earth, ie by reminding him that Republican members of Congress had had plenty of threats by kooks during the "healthcare debate"? (Bret reminded viewers of shots being fired at Eric Cantor's Richmond, VA office)

There were also kind of veiled warnings from Bret and Doug that Shep "not jump to conclusions and blame any group yet" for the actions of this nutcase gunman until more information about the guy was confirmed. When Shep came back on at 7pm, we switched the channel - couldn't take it anymore. The only thing worse than Shep would be Whorealdo... did he show up live on FNC today?

How on earth were you able to get onto FR Saturday afternoon? Every time I tried to post something FR crashed for me. Grr!!
