In my two years of residing in Baghdad, I became familiar with several Iraqis. Most of the men bragged how their uncles paid for their weddings. When I asked why did they do that, they replied because I married his daughter. BTW, the Iraqi male is very frail. Cry at the drop of a hat. Their pain threshold is lower than a 4 year old child. Very quick to anger or agitate, yet quick to smile and please.

Interesting. I have wondered in the past at how readily the prisoners over there seem to sing like a bird. Without "torture." I assumed it was because they have no authentic principles to defend other than their islamic dogcrap, but maybe it is physiological devolution.
