Who'd guessed? How conveniently warped in thrift. Obviously doesn't wanted to be bothered by complaints from opposition constituents in vocal strongholds. Has JimRob already worn out his welcome?

Shoulda closed the Sacramento, LA & San Francisco offices too.

Brown is an, er, interesting character. He’s utterly liberal, but very unconventional.
I think he’ll surprise and infuriate a lot of people on both sides of the aisle during his term. Should be interesting to watch. Especially from a different state. :)

He’s afraid of that Jim Thompson fella.

Pure theater.
Pure Hollywood.

Yes, but what question did he axe the Fresno office?
To: Amerigomag
This is just fine. He’s downsizing. Good.
Of course, Agriculture is still the state’s top industry, and this leaves the precious Central Valley with no direct office in its midst. But that’s okay, there’s not one where I live either, and I wouldn’t want to pay for one.
I hope he keeps cutting and cutting and cutting. Just as only Nixon could go to China, let’s hope that only Moonbeam can cut California’s kudzu-vine of a bureaucracy down to size. Brown was actually an okay mayor, so maybe he’s grown up. We’re stuck with him for four years, might as well try to be hopeful.

Cal-Trans is replacing two bridges over the Mad River on 101 with one finished and starting to remove one old one to make way for the new north bound bridge. I will not be surprised if he puts a stop to it just like he did to the 101 freeway around Eureka the last time he was King Court Jester. Eureka still suffers through traffic on surface streets because Brownie sold off the real estate...

Why does a governor need “field offices” anyway?

"Should be interesting to watch. Especially from a different state"Yes, especially from a different state! We spent almost 10 years in that hell hole when I was in the Navy. I actually had to beg my detailer to transfer me out. Ended up in Corpus Christi, TX and never looked back. A year later Orange County went bankrupt. CA doesn't have a chance in the world! Surprised it lasted this long. Sell it to China already!

This guy has changed. He is cutting waste which I don’t believe he would have done last time. We should give him credit for trying. I suppose since he is a democrat we should not give him credit, but being that he is cutting it should be acknowledged. Good for Brown.

I’ll cry when he closes his office in Redding. sarcasm/

Brown lost to Whitman in all three locations in November. Is this payback?
