Thank goodness for my government. While coping with unemployment, mortgage debt, paying my children's college, fighting some land use regulation issues at the federal level on my property, three major health issues, and my wife's international travel woes to Cardiff, This gender neutral passport thing was at the front of the list.

Just round em all up and beat them senseless, which won't take more than a dirty look considering how close to senseless they already are.

No doubt its part of the stimulus program -- can you imagine how many forms, computer programs, blank passports, etc. need to be replaced or updated? And there are probably 10 bureaucrats whose sole job was to figure out what to replace father and mother with, and who are now busy examining every form in the entire office to see what else they should change. Pretty soon you'll have to fill in your Parent 1's pre-union identification name on some other form, since you won't be able to use your mother's maiden name.
