President Obama’s path to a second term may rely on states shaped by the same social forces he embodies.

By any standard, white voters’ rejection of Democrats in November’s elections was daunting and even historic.
Fully 60 percent of whites nationwide backed Republican candidates for the House of Representatives; only 37 percent supported Democrats, according to the National Election Poll exit poll conducted by Edison Research. Not even in Republicans’ 1994 congressional landslide did they win that high a percentage of the white vote.
Moreover, those results may understate the extent of the white flight from the Democratic Party, according to a National Journal analysis of previously unpublished exit-poll data provided by Edison Research.
The new data show that white voters not only strongly preferred Republican House and Senate candidates but also registered deep disappointment with President Obama’s performance, hostility toward the cornerstones of the current Democratic agenda, and widespread skepticism about the expansive role for Washington embedded in the party’s priorities. On each of those questions, minority voters expressed almost exactly the opposite view from whites.

I think that a good sized chunk of the white vote for Obama can still be guilted into voting for him in 2012. Those people will never be left off the hook.
I’d like to see a breakdown between public and private sector employees. Perhaps the white flight is due to those people realizing who’s befitting and who’s paying for Hussein’s Marxist utopia.
The alleged statistic about “Educated White Females” supporting Obama strikes me a little odd. Sounds like the real hardcore dope burnouts with degrees in PolySci, Soc, and Psych were the only ones available for interviews.
Here is the significance of the neo-Stalinist "progressive" pitch to women. Draw a pie chart of the U.S. demographically by race.
Then take the big "Anglo-American" chunk, and cut it precisely in two. Now the whole thing is in play. That is what feminism does.
Most people aren't aware Betty Friedan, long before she was famous, was a Communist as a college student, and she left college to work on the newspaper of the biggest Communist-run union in the United States, the Electricians' Union, in the 40's and early 50's.
As libs kill off their to be voter base with huge minority abortions as in NY, they look to illegals as their base. Whites seemingly have a better understanding of policy and American heritage, history and our values than minorities. As they face a choice between the alien ideology of Bama and his Dem socialist baloney, capitalism doesn’t look so bad to many white voters now even if they complained before.

About 10 years ago, the Texas Democrats fell under the control of a trio of white women who proceeded to put up a statewide ticket led by a MeCha-influenced Chicano businessman from the Valley, Tony Sanchez, as gubernatorial candidate challenging Gov. Rick Perry. The senatorial nomination challenging Kay Bailey Hutchison went to a controversial black city councilman from Dallas. The highest spot on the ballot to go to a Caucasian was lieutenant-governor (actually the Texas office with the most political clout), for which they nominated the well-regarded fiscal-conservative John Sharp, who'd done some budget-scrubbing that appealed to more conservative voters.
The election was a disaster for the 'Rats. Antonio Sanchez de Santa Anna crashed and burned, the senatorial candidate crashed and burned, and the East Texas "Yellow Dog" Democrats, figuring out that these liberal women were deliberately turning the Democratic Party into the Party of Anti-Bubba, stayed home in droves. The election was a statewide wipeout for the Democrats, their first since, well, Reconstruction.
The Democrats are still making that bet, and the NALEO types have not backed off one iota of their cultural racism shtick. Neither, obviously, has Obama, who is amping it up instead.
“Four more years of unemployment” just doesn’t have the same ring to it as “Hope and Change” did.
If Republicans attract more and more blacks (witness Col. Allen, Tom Sowell, Alan Keyes, Ward Conerly), the liberal "racism" whipping boy is going to get awfully tired.
That's because cultural conservatism isn't the same thing as segregationism, and the liberals know it, but they just keep lying. Black family values, surprise surprise, are just about the same as white family values, so that it's difficult to make a case for a purely racial distinction between them.
That's why liberals told Sen. Pat Moynihan to "shut up" about black families back in the 60's. The issues and problems he wanted to discuss weren't something you could make a "bloody shirt" issue out of.

I agree with you re: the Asians; but hispanics are not generally independents, and generally are strong Dim supporters.

Since women are around 50 percent of the population, the math really works out to 76 percent of all NY females aborting their children?(38 per cent of NY’ers aborting their children would all have to be women, and if women run about 50 percent of the population, then 76 per cent of all NY wome are aborting their babies)

Was it NY females as in NYC or all NY state females?
