My feelings are this: If a given religious group wants to sanction gay marriage, and if a given insurance company wants to acknowledge said marriage, fine by me. However, for the government to legislate based on sexual preference is unconscionable.

I frankly don't care what they do, as long as its not shoved in my face, and that is not the case with the gay agenda. Its not recognized as a group of Conservatives, which is how I identify myself. Its always “gay” conservatives, “gay” rights, its identity politics and I frankly am sick of it.

I feel the same way about anyone that uses that ploy, like its a special marker of some sort.

I do not say I am a female Conservative. Or a baby boomer Conservative, or a Mommy Conservative. Or a hyphenated Conservative...I'm sick of it all.
