Question - Cloward Piven wants to overload the US Govt with expenditure and social welfare spending, and that indeed seems to be what is happening. At the same time, Conservatives, myself included, would not mind States such as CA, NY, IL, etc.... going bankrupt, or the FED being shut down, if that is what it takes to return fiscal sanity, kill Gov’t supported political correctness and social engineering, and especially restore individual and local Govt rights to our country.
SO - who is to say that Cloward Piven would not actually bring about the things Conservatives want?
If these “so-called” intellectuals read Eric Hoffer, they would understand why this will NEVER work.
He lays out the premise perfectly.
I went to a Tea Party town hall with local state delegates here in Virginia the other night. While the delegates were all reasonably conservative I was surprised at how much they did not know about this kind of stuff. For instance only one in six knew about ‘sanctuary cities’. We must do a better job of putting these dangerous strategies before our elected officials and not assume that they are as up to speed as we are.
Over-whelm the President with small increments of legislation to sign..
So he will go on record as being against this or that...
And if he signs some good things then the leftys will hate him for it..
Omnibus bills allow the Prez to veto the good stuff with the bad with "an excuse"..
ACP forces the Prez to answer good legislation with BAD VETOS...
Also; makes for ammo for the pundits...
A dose of pelonium for Piven.
Ping and SP free!!!
Gov. Christie knows how to deal with the Blowhard-Pinhead strategy: pit all the little special interest groups against each other in a rotating whack-a-mole and cut them all down to size.
