Not really, simply put the fence up, and increase patrols on the border to stop the illegals. THAT will reduce the garbage significantly!
And then have illegals clean up the mess on their way back to Mexico.
Maybe the state could arm them and train them to pick-up the human debris while their cleaning up the garbage.
And who is going to provide the armed bodyguards to protect the persons picking up trash? Who is crazy enough to enter alone anad withhout prottection, some of the potentially dangerous sites(Walker, Sycamore, Peck, Ramanote canyons, the San Pedro riparian, the Coronado, the Arivaca Creek, the Organ Pipe, etc.) where trash has been piling up for years?
W’s fault.
Why doesn’t the governor declare it an environmental disaster?
Then the EPA could clean it up.
It would give them something productive to do.
One would think that pointing out that the illegals crossing our borders bring in drugs, litter and compete with the unions for jobs would cause the left to want to shut down the border. But no.
If the left thought that the illegals plan to vote Republican, that would do it. The left would support putting up a 30 ft concrete barrier with high voltage across the top.

Ping!
Wouldn’t it be easier to have volunteers close the border than to have volunteers clean up trash behind the criminal illegals who litter on their way here?
After watching a few episodes of Border Wars I told my wife that when the Border Patrol arrests a bunch of illegals make them haul out some of the trash.
I was going to say that focusing on the trash might make the greenies a little less sympathetic to illegal aliens.
But of course not. That would be too logical.
I was also going to say that maybe we could get PETA on our side by describing the way drug smugglers treat their horses: overloading them with drugs, not bothering to give them food or water, and letting them loose in the U.S. after they’ve done their job.
But PETA would probably react the same way: “Oh, those poor illegals! They can’t help strewing trash or mistreating horses. We’ve got to take them in and EDUCATE them at taxpayer expense. Meantime, we’ll get volunteers to pick up the trash and put down the horses.
The problem is the refuse coming across the border not the litter.
Sorry, I would prefer NRA types to the effete environmentalist who faints at the sight of a weapon.
Typical. Illegals make a mess and Americans have to clean it up. Yet they keep telling us that illegals are “hardworking” and Americans are “lazy.”
Border PING
This actually isn’t a bad idea.
I see it as an effort to split up our enemies and get them fighting against each other.
We need environmentalists on our side against illegal immigration. We need to point out how sensitive environments like the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument are being destroyed by the aliens trudging through it and over the protected species there.
Rather than demanding that the environmentalists fight our fight, we should let them fight their own, separate fight.
