I don’t agree.
We need to nominate:
#1 - a conservative
#2 - someone who can take on and beat President Obama
#3 - someone who will make a great President
Some conservatives (like myself) think Palin passes #1 and will be better on #3 than critics assume, but are concerned about #2. See post #13. Palin may be the best candidate who runs, but electability will be an issue for her. We’ll see how it shakes out. She is going to easily be the most high-profile candidate and likely frontrunner if she does run.
Most likely who is nominated is a small issue. The issue will be the economy, and possibly other macro issues.
