Exclusive excerpt from ‘Courting Disaster’ by Marc Thiessen: ‘Sheikh Osama warned you’ (A Reminder)
The Daily Caller ^ | 26 January 2010 | Marc Thiessen

Posted on 01/06/2011 12:58:30 PM PST by jda

"Indeed, the official assessment of our intelligence community is that, were it not for the CIA interrogation program, 'al Qaeda and its allies would have succeeded in launching another attack against the American homeland.'

"And in his first forty-eight hours in office, President Barack Obama shut the program down."

So we don't forget: Obama's destruction of America began in earnest within hours of his inauguration. Apparently he is practicing the Muslim doctrine of Taqiyya, which means it's ok for him to lie to us infidels - he obviously does not intend to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

The American pubic are brainwashed by TV. They traded their liberty for a TV clicker. They are addicted to 24x7 mindless TV brainwashing. Fox is no better. ALL TV supports the muslim.

We have very good people on the front lines today working hard to protect the country. The writer of this piece has little insight or information in to what is really happening today. And frankly, that is not a bad thing....

An absolutely GREAT book. Wonderful ammunition to unload on uneducated Libbies who have absolutely no facts as to enhanced interrogation techniques and how the CIA was keeping us safe until Zero showed up.

Yes, thanks to the intelligence from Mossad and New Scotland Yard MI6.

Remember When: President Obama joined with top US intelligence, FBI and Homeland Security officials to insist that Abdulmutallab was inadvertently allowed to board the plane carrying explosives because of a failure to “connect the dots,” has from the start been deceiving the American people.

The official line strained credulity from the outset, given reports of multiple advance warnings that the Nigerian student was linked to terrorists in Yemen who were planning attacks on the US. As was widely reported within hours of the failed bombing attempt, Abdulmutallab’s father—a former Nigerian government minister and prominent banker—went to the US embassy in Abuja in November to warn that his son was involved with radical Islamists in Yemen and had broken off contact with his family

"We would prevent him from getting on that plane from Amsterdam to Detroit," said Napolitano. "That's more international protocols put in place ... new international aviation requirements.[Source]

The New Scotland Yard connected the dots after the Ft. Hood attack, while the military chiefs asked how that could have happened. Anwar al-Awlaki, a radical, American-born cleric who knew at least one of the 9/11 hijackers and exchanged e-mail messages with the Army shrink, who spoke against America and promoted was charged in the Fort Hood shootings. Reported "one of the most popular English-language jihadist shaikhs out on the circuit today".

Fast Forward:
Sawyer sat down with officials on the same day that British authorities arrested 12 men in England.

Brennan and Napolitano knew of the arrests and said that the plot would not have threatened the United States, but Director Clapper, who briefs the president daily on the nation's security, appeared to be unfamiliar with the events in London.

"First of all, London," Sawyer said. "How serious is it? Any implication that it was coming here? ... Director Clapper?"

"London?" Clapper said, before Brennan entered the conversation explaining the arrests. Later in the interview, Sawyer returned to the subject.

"I was a little surprised you didn't know about London," Sawyer told Clapper.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't," he replied.

It appears quite obvious since this Administration took office, we seem to be the last to know---call it dumb luck? Call it the guy on the street in NYC. Call it the supremely-observant Customs Inspector, Diana Dean, at the then vulnerable ferry terminal at Port Angeles, Washington, aka the “Millenium Terrorist”.

Recent: June 2010..The plot said in motion Hamid Malekpour (with Iranian passports)followed to a gun store in McMinnville, Oregon to distribute the arms to Islamic terrorists and use them in an attack sometime in the near future..smuggling arms from Canada into the U.S. discovered by observant ICE agents. Illegal weapons in Canada, but not the US.

Lesson learned: Now it is much easier to buy such weapons inside the U.S. by opening a false-front gun store using a shill to obtain a federal firearms license than it is to try to smuggle weapons across the border-- According to the ATF a federal firearms license had been issued to someone at the address of the McMinnville gun shop, presumably Zarandi.

Now we have this double agent possiblity-Headly changed his name legally from Daood Gilani ..smuggled drugs/terrorism money worked for them, got caught, then worked for us, got caught now works for us again--get confused.

And I am not disparaging those in the trenches, but the people who are put in charge "the bosses"..the overseers, the legal advisers with like-Jamie Gorelick mentality!!

Bush was focused on national security! We should be as well and the economy second!

I can agree with you in part..and I do not think it is lack of patriotism is just conveyor belt news way behind what you get out of the UK, as I mention above in length--where we now have "Londonstan" highly populated with Muslim cells, thousands that could change life in the UK overnight..even quiet old Germany has been selling materials to Iran as if they did not cause one Holocaust. We do not get real news we get..."you know what we get"...you said it. It's frustrating. It's media celebritydom. But ut's what the majority of the people want to hear-political gossip.

I am a fan of the LondonTelegraph.co.uk is on my iPad and iPhone and on the favorite bar on my PC. I had to watch FOX Business today, as could not stand the political whining on "the other Fox".
