Without having seen the statistics, I would be willing to bet that most girls who end up in these oppressive relationships are from single parent homes. Very few would have a father married to their mother, residing with them, and taking care of them. Many would be living with mother's boyfriend, and we know where that leads.
And we can thank the Left for creating the poisonous 'culture' that allows this to become an 'equally worthwhile option' which so many eagerly gravitate toward.
