The birds have been chirping outside my sister’s bedroom window in Orange County, NY, since she moved there four years ago. Only they start at 2:30 am on the dot.

I think it has to do with the Magnetic Field, we are out of orbit... Good guess. Could be that this is a pre-cursor to the predicted 180 degree shift of the magnetic poles of Earth's magnetic field. Something wicked this way comes.
