I don’t know the details. Either way what was done was wrong especially the Mom. The girl was 18 or 19 depending on her birthday still she had no business messing with a 13 year old. If I found out an 18-19 year was messing with my 13 year old daughter I’d be more than a little upset. People who focus on young people do so because they can be controlled and manipulated. They have problems with relationships with real adults so they go after the inexperienced. I had a ‘relationship’ with a 21 year old married woman when I was in HS and even though I didn’t see it as a problem. I couldn’t have imagined something like that when I was 13.

For whatever reason, I think it’s different when it’s an 18-19yo girl and a 13yo boy. I doubt the kid really suffered, or he would have avoided contact with them. The article didn’t mention anything about force, coercion or threats of any kind.
