Bachmann would be great. IMO she is better than palin.
I do see two potentially big problems with both Palin and Bachmann in 2012.
First: we would be coming off a big “First” for America. The first black president that is. Unfortunately this little experiment has been a complete disaster. I’m not sure that the “First Woman” president and the unknowns that go with it might be troublesome in the minds of many voters. Voters on both sides may not be in the mood to try something new again.
SECOND: What if the first woman president gets pregnant while in office? Think about it honestly. Would you be comfortable if the US were to come under attack or all out war if our president were pregnant and at the same time needing to make decisions that may determine the survival of our country?
Hillary ran but was on the Dem side so this issue never came up. Also Hillary was older or at least appears old enough that pregnancy would be unlikely. Don’t think for a second that the left wing media will not bring up this issue with young attractive females like Palin or Bachmann. It’s an issue that I doubt many voters have ever put much thought into but when it’s brought to light it will be a consideration and could mean a loss in 2012 if the Dem is a man.
