Cheryl Kilodavis was stunned when her young son first insisted on wearing a dress. Now she has published a book about him, in a bid to teach critics to accept his differences.
For most young boys, dressing up as Spiderman and Buzz Lightyear would be the stuff of fancy dress fantasy.
But not so for five-year-old Dyson Kilodavis, from Seattle, who insists on wearing dresses worthy of a Disney princess.
Naturally, his parents, Cheryl and Dean Kilodavis, were concerned that this could make him an easy target for bullies, and when the tendency first emerged, his mother tried to deter him.

Looks a little like an Obama. Has that freaky me look.
Gee, another homosexual in the making ... thanks mom.
What does “try to deter him” supposed to mean?
When did 5 year olds ever get the right to determine what they should be wearing?
Get out of Washington as fast as possible.
Oh puke. This mother has some problems and is creating a big one for her child.
Looks like he can be a poster kid for the new army of one
You are SOOOO right!! Truly sad.
allows or forces?
Oprah fan for sure.
You ever realize that the gay crap really gained traction about the time the idiot beast from chi-town came on the scene? Day time TV = brain rot.
What if the son is angry at the mother for allowing this, when he is older?
Seen this kid and parent on one of the morning shows this morning.. This kid didn’t appear to be wanting to do this on his own. Wonder how much money mom is making on her book..
Obama as a kid?
“Looks a little like an Obama. Has that freaky me look.”
I think that is the young poofter Obama!
Well, if the kid grows up and kills his mother for this, and I happen to be on the jury, I’d proclaim ‘justifiable homicide’ and happily see him set free.
I knew a mother who went shopping for female clothes for her son when he announced he thought he was ‘gay’ in his early teens.
He committed suicide a few years ago after living the ‘gay’ lifestyle.
It was just so gay:)
“Naturally, his parents, Cheryl and Dean Kilodavis, were concerned that this could make him an easy target for bullies”
No Shite Sherlock!! Why not just paint a target on the kid’s back? Memo to Cheryl and Dean: Don’t let him do it. Let him wait til he’s 18 to join the ballet.
WTF ! Where is the father ? I am sure that CPS approves of this as well since this is P.C. !
