I suspect there are going to be a lot of posters who go into denial over Palin’s position on gays. I can’t imagine anyone here starting to call her a RINO but stranger things have happened.

DENIAL? Over what "position?" What position has she stated "on gays?"

Innuendo like this is an enemy of the truth.

Having passed the information on, Palin pretty much has issue some sort of clarification now, and it's difficult to figure out how she'll do it without sustaining political damage.

Coming out strongly either way on the issue will cause her no end of grief, because (as happened to various candidates in November), that's the only thing people will pay attention to.

Her best bet would probably be some sort of flaccid "didn't carefully read what Tammy said, but I agree it's not our most pressing issue."

But it would be very amusing to see what happens around here should she come out in support of the repeal... Would JimRob start banning Palin supporters, as per the stated policy of the site?
