Although I typically avoid the company of deviants, I never called Lakin a hypocrite. I pointed out that Lakin painted himself in a logical corner. If he accepts a commutation or pardon, then he recognizes Obama as Commander in Chief and walks away from his argument. The he would be a hypocrite refusing to acknowledge Obama in the face of deployment, but accepting his authority to go free.

To follow your logic, as Commander-in-Chief Obama is the ultimate authority over the military, so if LTC Lakin should not accept a pardon or commutation of sentence he is within the same logical paradigm as to assert wrongful incarceration ... and therefore go free.
