The judge ordered that the husband be allowed to decide. If he’d decided to keep her on life support she would have been kept on life support.
The parents pleaded with the husband to let them take custody of her. He refused and opted for her death anyway. When he leaves this world, he will have some serious 'splain' to do... as will that judge.
