Have opinions, or don’t have opinions. But for heaven’s sake, don’t have opinions that waver in the slightest wind. What the hell are opinions like that worth to anyone?

Unfortunately, snipers and anti-personel mines were never even considered. I think the fence remains a good idea but it certainly can’t work without concurrent changes in border policies and procedures.

No, it's a good idea but it needs the proper armament on the US side. I recommend a 50 cal every 200 yards, regular armed patrols, and the occasional helicopter strafe. Plus nearby forces that can amass in case of a large-scale break-in.
