It is not about stretching the checks, its about scamming the system. Her husband retired from an insurance company after 30 years, and before he left, claimed disability and got it. To this day, he is skiing, working out and all the other stuff and collecting retirement and SSDI. He hasn’t gotten the personalized license plates though, yet. He works under the table at the gym.

Sorry, I misdirected my reply to you -- in post 8, cva66snipe was wondering how someone could choose to go on disability when the money wasn't enough to live on. With tax-free, under-the-table income, it certainly can be.
