It probably does “profoundly” affect a person. So what. Many of us or our family members have been “profoundly” affected by something one time or another.

It is great you are taking care of your wife.

But again I ask........Why am I or any other taxpayer forced to pay for someones luxury of nursing their mental wounds at home. Many have the same wounds and get up and work.

Again.....we cannot afford it.
