The MSM don’t care whether or not this is true and ultimately goes away. They merely want the allegation out there so they can refer to it in hushed tones. It will be dropped with no finding of guilt (or innocence).

The accusations about Christine O’Donnell are leveled in order to attempt to discredit Sarah Palin because she endorsed O’Donnell. Even if NOTHING is ever actually proven about O’Donnell, the media will pull O’Donnell out of their bag of tricks and use her to beat Sarah over the head should she DARE to run against their boy, “Bama”. - Rove and crew will run another McCain type, he’ll lose big though not to a humiliating extent, even though we’ll be told that we MUST back the RINO so that Obama won’t win.
