Romney’s the best alright. The best hope for Obama’s reelection.

Your reasons seem to reflect more of a personal dislike of Romney than a real difference in policy matters. Again, do you really believe that BHO is a better choice than Romney? Think in specific terms: for example, would Romney have nominated Kagan and Sotomayor for the SC?

Help me understand your post. In a head-to-head general election do you prefer BHO to Romney? Would you vote for BHO?

Let me help you understand YOUR post:

You are arguing that Romney is better because he’s “less evil”.

Can I offer you a pan full of fresh, home-made brownies, containing only 25% (by weight) of the highest-quality dog excrement? Don’t worry - it’s not as bad as the 50% brownies on the democrat’s bake-sale table - the quantity of dog excrement is cut by HALF!

As for anyone like you who is so weak in their understanding that “less evil” does NOT automatically equate to “acceptable”, I will make my opposition very clear:

Mitt Romney does not rise to a sufficient level of acceptability for me. If the republican party chooses to endorse Romney Care’s namesake, I will not support the republican party.

THE BLAME FOR A LOSS WILL THEN LIE WITH THE REPUBLICAN PARTY, WHO (AFTER DECADES OF MY SUPPORT) WILL HAVE EXPLICITLY TOLD ME TO GO F&*% MYSELF, BECAUSE THEY DO NOT GIVE A DAMN WHAT I FIND ACCEPTABLE.

Is that clear now?

Oh - and enjoy your brownies.

No, it’s not. We’re talking about candidates, not brownies. Or feces. I’ll ask again: do you prefer a candidate who will make nothing but bad decisions (BHO) to a candidate who will make some, perhaps many, good decisions (Romney)? If that’s the choice, why would you not vote GOP? Are you not a conservative?

Please resist the temptation to again obfuscate the issue via scatalogical non-analogies.

I will not support Romney. He is not nearly conservative enough for me to lend my name (or vote) to his cause.

If the R republican party believes that he is their best bet to win - they must also realize they are specifically telling anyone who is willing to say UP FRONT that he is unacceptable to GO AWAY.

I’m sorry you have no minimum standard of acceptability for your vote. “Less evil” is still evil, just like “less excrement” is still excrement.

For the record, I am a conservative who happens to be a registered republican. You appear to be a republican, first and foremost. Have fun with that, if Romney is the nominee.
