What is so amazing in the photographs and videos on You Tube is these buildings were abandoned like Chernobyl or even faster. Libraries were they left the books - not like anyone in the city can read.

Offices in the office buildings were files and everything were just left behind. One of a local/regional stock brokerage. A dentist’s office. It is like people fled that day. Office buildings downtown that have been totally vacant for years.

Almost like a plague swept through quickly - aka the plaugue or liberalism.

Exactly. That is precisely what struck me about these images--It is as if the residents fled before an onslaught of some sort.

Those pictures looked like Hollywood set stages for an apocalyptic movie.

Sets the tone to express something cataclysmic happened....something did.......
