Put those stinking Liberal Progressives back under the rocks they crawled from under NOW............

I'm afraid it may be too late for that. Just over 2 years ago 63 million-plus American adults voted for a "stinking Liberal Progressive" who made very few bones about what he and his fellow "progressives" have planned for the US and it's people. A 1/4-century from now all of the US will look worse and BE worse than Detroit today unless the millions of centrist voters of both major parties get a clue about what these mis-named "progressives" are doing to our nation before 2012 comes around. Worse yet, even a fiscally conservative administration and Congress might not be able to save the U.S. Multiple millions of us are so conditioned to what appear to be the goodies of the Marxist-lite welfare state that a conservative administration and Congress might be thrown out after one term of trying to reverse the 7-decade leftist political tide that has engulfed us in this sad state of political/fiscal affairs.

Neither conservative Repubs nor liberal Dems decide who governs America these days, the mushy-middle voter with no real commitment to either party does. And he/she usually tends to lean to the left, thank you very much Mr. American media. If the majority of mushy-middlers are so far out of touch with reality that they gave us Obama and his Marxist retinue, which they did, IMHO they're as dangerous as the far leftists who know exactly what they're doing. The founding fathers didn't intend for their progeny to live under a dictatorship of the proletariat (one that's actually a dictatorship of the erudite elitists). They must be rolling in their graves 24/7.

thank you very much Mr. American media.

I should have included the U.S. education establishment in my thanks. It has probably done more to bring us to this present point of imminent fiscal and social collapse than the media and the rest of the Marxist-lite bloc combined.

Congratulations. Your is one of the finest, most concise, and erudite posts I've ever read on this subject. You are spot on. I wish I could write that well.

BTW, I'm curious. Do you write for a living or do you write often in your line or work?

You forgot the Corruption that will be worse in all those locals, Just like Detroit's Corruption that is getting cleaned up now...

That is why Karmanos, Roger Penske and one other give Kawama Kilpatrick a "loan" of high 6 figures and promise of a job to get him "Off Stage" in Sept of 08' so that Obama could not be compared to Kawame. I bet that went all the way to the top of the DNC. It was too much of a distraction. Those gents mentioned are now in deep doo-doo as the Feds look into their "loan".

I know just what you mean and must agree to some extent. However, I sincerely hope it isn’t too late.

If I had my way, no one would be allowed to vote until they passed a basic civics exam and could state the reason for their choices. (I know. Silly dream.)
