We are fighting for a similar law here in Pennsylvania, along with a law that would protect the shooter from civil lawsuits from the perp’s relatives.

Seems like this article, written by the lawyer, is more about the lawyer himself (count the number of times he mentions his name and greatness) than the actual case...

Anyway, good outcome, I guess.

So you’d expect the ~26 posts found at the scene to be in four different fonts. But they’re not. So something’s fishy.

Too late, the Bureau of Alcohol, Typing, and Firearms hauled him off for having a unlicensed Class III keyboard.

Self promotion is something nearly everyone has to learn. I am glad that he conveyed some information about the case.

As I'm reading the article I'm thinking that there is way too much detail for it to have been written by the State Run Media. Sure enough .... So I'm also glad they put out that much info. And the lawyer's name was saved :-)

Curious as to why the State's Atty office chose to prosecute. Usually those idiots only prosecute a slam dunk case and as there was no argument the defendant pulled a gun in response to the dead guy pulling his, it seems to be that this was a no brainer successful defense of Stand Your Ground.

Was the dead guy Black and the shooter White perhaps? Or vice-versa?

From another article:

===========
Gallo is considering a civil lawsuit over the arrest but for now is just happy to be free after a 5-month jail stay that cost him his job and time with his wife and four children.

===========
Prosecutors and cops had Gallo pinned for this since day one. They believed the witnesses that said Gallo was the aggressor and that Gallo had stood over Barbour and fired into his body, killing him.

What they seemingly IGNORED were the bullet holes in Gallo's van from FOUR different calibers. Gallo shot at Barbour, turned ran towards his van, took cover and shot again before making it to his van and escaping.

Gallo released from jail. May sue

I'm glad to read that he is considering suing. The police violated his rights and state law by arresting him and a felony arrest will always stay on his record unless he gets an expungement. That 2nd Degree murder conviction will follow him and show up on any background check.

The county, police, etc. owe him millions and I hope he bankrupts them all.
