I was snow-blinded once when I was about ten...very painful. I figured this was an article detailing how to avoid it, although I understand that ObamaCare has outlawed extended gazing at snow fields in the sunshine.
I recall the term “homeostasis” from my high school science courses back in the 1950s. Why has that word disappeared from all the MSM climate discussion?

The claim that rising CO2 will cause a runaway increase in global temperature, is like claiming that if you fart in an elevator the excess heat will cause all the females to remove their clothes.

Homeostasis is the systemic maintenance of a steady state.
Or at least a relatively steady state, like your body temperature, or atmospheric gas ratios and so on.
Your point is well made. These frauds seem to have forgotten homeostasis.
Would a collpase of the Greenland Ice Sheet (caused by a warmer earth) shut down the Gulf Stream and put Europe in a Deep Freeze? Yes. Certainly. However...that isn't what is happening here. Is the globe warming? Yes. It has been since the late 70's...especially during the El Nino of 1997. It's all a cycle. Even with the recent cold in the north and south east...its still above normal over most of North America (or near normal when you avg it all out). The Southwest is above normal and NE Canada is WAAAY above normal. So...just because its cold in your part of the world doesn't mean the globe isn't warmer overall.
HOWEVER! The current satellite temps show the overall temp only .2C above normal and dropping quickly (as of November). By the time we get into January...I suspect we will be back below normal for the avg global temp and I further suspect (along with Joe Bastardi and some other mets...and I am a meteorologist as well) that we are in for a 20-30 year period of global cooling. This is due to many factors...but mostly a cool PDO and weak solar cycle. If the polar volcanic activity picks up...then it will really get cold.
Global Warming is the George Bush of the physical world.
They are both responsible for anything that can't be easily explained in other ways.
These people are so incredibly stupid. The amount of evaporation doesn't have to do with the volume of water. It has to do with its surface area. (Spill a small glass of water onto the floor or other surface and come back and hour later and the water will be gone. Fill the same glass with some more water and leave it on the counter. Most of that water will still be there a day later.) And besides the volume of water on the earth seems to be remarkably constant. (One site I found - which is also the first one Google found - says: "It is estimated that the volume of the earth's ocean increases by 1 cubic meter every year." Wow! A whole F&*^@#g cubic meter a year!)

Great clip. I think he was the guy on the “Great Global Warming Swindle” that had predicted the weather so correctly for Europe the past few years.

Well, its been my experience that when I fart in an elevator full of women that I receive nothing BUT negative feedback.

I know it has nothing to do with his predictions, I just wonder if these people evr look in a mirror and see how goofy they look.
