But WAIT! My governor, Mitch Daniels, said that social issues are secondary to the economy and foreign policy, and that we need to call a truce on social issues.

And I buy that, if that means that by the economy he means that there is no longer any money to fund any groups like Planned Parenthood.

Daniels is a PCUSA member ... one of those fine mainline Prot denoms, like the ELCA, that have abortion coverage in their *clergy* healthcare package.

Daniels wants a truce on social issues because he plays for the other team.

Daniels is an idiot who decided to kill any presidential aspirations he might have by pushing for surrender in a year when the outlook for conservatives was as bright as it's ever been.

Mark my words, there are a lot of libertarians lurking in the Tea Party movement who would love nothing more than to abandon all tenets of social conservatism and it will be a disaster if that is allowed to happen.
