No need to kill every one who professes the muslim “faith”. If the rock at medina were destroyed, that would prove that the rock god - aka allah - was inferior to the JudeoChristian G_d. This event occurring would cause - as some have said elsewhere - that they would either convert or become atheists. There would be no uprising as allah would be ‘dead’ in their minds and, they would be left with no direction to pray to.

Simple fix - just be sure that the destruction of medina occurs during the Haj so they know the JudeoChristian G_d means business.
