Just ugly!
Leftists are depraved... I just hate them!
Then again, that’s what they call just when they run out of arguments.

That Rat State Senator should call up Hillary quickly...and get her to run a seance to get advice from the ghost of Robert Byrd.

The funny things that he iis showing his stupidity.
The Klan was the invention of the dims originally to resist reconstruction.
To: i88schwartz
This is that fine spirit of bipartisanship on display that the lamestream media is always demanding of the GOP.
To: i88schwartz
How can they hold a midnight meeting when Grand Vizier Robert Byrd has passed?

Someone remind Sen. Brown that it was the Republicans who freed the slaves, and the Democrats who favored keeping slavery in place in the South.

resist reconstructionSome of my ancestors did that and they were not Klan. The "Radical Republicans" of that day were corrupt horrible excuses for humans.
Some of my ancestors were literally "burned out" of Alabama and came to Texas to escape "Reconstruction". Their decendants are still here. Knowledge of the effects of those times is still here. There are some remarkably similiar things happening in DC today as happened then. Very troubling.

This sick man will be getting a phone call to his office about his lies.
It is and has always been the democrat party that has been the party of the KKK and the party of denying equal rights to representation for all.
From the Confederate democrats to the Progressive democrats the agenda has always been to attack the Constitution and liberty and equality for all.
It has been conservatism and the Republican party that has always stood for preserving true freedom for all.

All the fault of the KKK Confederate democrats who fought to abolish the Constitution and secede from the Union in order to protect slavery and their own sick version of liberty.

If the Senator had been around way back when, he would have found a lot of Democrats under those sheets. Maybe he can explain why southern Democrats like himself opposed a federal anti-lynching law?

Actually, it's this dems wishful thinking...for if the Klan was still rampant like it used to be, he would have something real to bitch about...as it is, he's conjuring up straw men in white sheets.
You see, without being a "victim", these militant blacks have nothing to use as leverage. They already have a truckload of special rights and privileges, not to mention entitlements, and now with obama, reparations.
But they are so packed with hate and vengence, nothing is ever going to satisfy them short of the complete annihilation of the white race. Then after that, they will go after the hispanics, and then any other race that isn't black. When every other race is gone, they will turn on each other.
It's a race full of reverends who all preach hate for other races.
But this "white sheets" comment is totally uncalled for in any case. It is totally in keeping with obama's "class warfare" policy, pitting the classes and races against each other.
The KKK was primarily democrats, and Robert Byrd, the late democrat senator, was a Grand Dragon.
My teachers used to say, "Be careful who you point at, because you have three fingers pointing back at YOU."

Very weak description of the motives for secession. Secession was a stupid move, which was opposed by Sam Houston to the point he left the State of Texas over it. But the war was not fought over slavery. Regional economics were a bigger factor.AND I said nothing about the Civil War, only commented about "Reconstruction". That is an event that no modern day citizen can understand. The license to steal originating from DC was so bad that entire Southern communities voted with their feet and went GTT (Gone to Texas).
I am sick of the lame discussion of the slavery here. It serves no useful purpose. None.

Sad but—expect more of this nonsense when the Republicans try to change things next year. They will brand anyone who isn’t a give everything to all people of color—as a bigot. The truth is such things may well help to revive the real Klan who will not be humbled by words and answer with a rope, a bomb or a shotgun.
