Senators Lugar and Hatch should choose to retire. Both of them were elected in 1976, so they’ve been in the U.S. Senate long enough. Lugar should be replaced by Gov. Mitch Daniels, and Hatch should be replaced by Michael Leavitt, a former governor and secretary of HHS.

Look at Robert Byrd. He only left the Senate in a pine box. What are they, after all, if they leave the Senate? As pitiful as a retired 4-star general playing golf every day.
