Is there any rim fire ammo these days other than .22 cal.? I don't recall ever seeing any other and I've been shooting since the early 1950’s. I've been away from any range time for a long time now and since I live in a pretty urban area there's really no place to plink tin cans or clothes pins on a barbed wire fence.
I have a nice weapon and really do need to go by a range and have someone go through the process with me and get me back into keeping some skills. I could fire the weapon if I had to, but I doubt it would do much more than piss off the assailant and scare the bystanders. And of course probably get me arrested.

I vaguely remember seeing some mm sized RF pistol ammo. The only one I have actually fired was the old Remington Derringer in .41 RF Short. Seems like I have read that one of the old Volcanic pistols was chambered in .41 RF Long. But as you said modern arms, no
