As a Christmas present I received a copy of Decision Points, abridged CD audio by Random House Audio. When I placed Disc 1 into my laptop disc drive, Windows Media Player attempts to pull the cover art from the internet. Apparently someone is trying to sell some music. Very poor taste nonetheless.
Instead of viewing the book cover, I see this:
A quick Google search leads me to DJ Flash's MySpace page:
And to his "record label" . . .
:’)
Death to the dollar bill, eh?
So I suppose she would be for her husband giving them all up and never seeing any money for his so-called rapper DJ skills?
That sure seems like a definite copyright violation.
Random House should be informed, post haste.
I thought Rappp had 3 Ps in it.
We can only hope so. They've been intellectually bankrupt from the start. If this is their best we can rest easy.
I suspect though, that they're leading with their auxiliaries, morons of which they have many to spare.
I'd keep your powder dry for the real deal still to come.
LOL, she shows places destroyed by Democrat policies. Liberalism is cognitive dissonance on steroids.
This is some kind of bootleg CD.
They’re usually sold on the Internet, the streets or at swap meets.
I’d ask the person who gave it to you where they bought it?
No, not a bootleg. It’s an original from Costco. I believe that when WMP reads a disc for the first time, it accesses the cover art and song title list from 3rd party internet locations. (Not sure where exactly). Evidently, this guy beat Random House to the punch by making his CD look like Decision Points and getting some free advertising. This kind of stuff just aggravates me, that’s all.
He shows how he learned quickly the differences between Texas and the boarding school and adapted. :-) I loved what one of his friends said when he found out he was being “sent” to the boarding school, “What did you do?” as though he was in trouble. I mean that is what we would have thought when I was growing up, too.
I got the hardcopy book for Christmas and have been thoroughly enjoying it.
I can’t see getting my panties all in a wad over this. After all, if someone pulled the same trick with one of President B.O.’s two (can’t wait for the next one) autobiographies we would all find it hilarious and send it viral. Sure it is insulting, but at least it’s clever in execution.
One of the defining characteristics of liberals is that they absolutely have no sense of humor.
To quote the late Wavy Gravy, “If you have no sense of humor, it’s not funny”.
> To quote the late Wavy Gravy, If you have no sense of humor, its not funny.
He’s still alive, actually.
Abby Hoffman is dead.
Wavy Gravy yet lives...
The rapper ‘forgot’ to include his love ballad “Sucking Saddam’s Schlong”.
WHY is this in ‘Breaking News’ ?
Can you post comments to the seller of this “CD?”
Something like:
How many CDs does Obama need to sell to pay for all his f-ing bailouts, douchebag?
Blah blah blah...could have come from any textbook hippie liberal moron.
Set List for the Obama CD:
1. Can’t find my B.C.
2. Joe’s Stupid
3. Yes, I’m Really Black
4. Government Motors
5. Twenty-Ten Beatdown
djFlash, dude sounds like a real dingleberry.
George Bush, though there are things in his politics I do not like (ie. thinking that compassion can be delivered by government, going along with the campaign finance reform, prescription drugs, and not fighting the Islamic Jihadist tooth and nail with no quarter for them or anyone supporting them, etc.), was a heck of a President and inspired in many of the things he did and accomplished.
He responded to very harsh conditions and established a doctrine towards terrorists and the states that support them that has changed the world and brought freedom (or at least the best chance at it that they have ever had) to parts of the world where it has not existsed before.
Despite not carrying through strongly enough (again, IMHO) in Iran and N. Korea.
IMHO, history will judge him strongly and well, despite some of my disagreements...and it will judge the current marxist in chief harshly for how he has squandered and damaged America's strength at a time when we precisely needed to continue extending it.
