Gov.-elect Jerry Brown has told Lottery Director Joan Borucki her services are no longer needed. Her last day is Sunday, according to a Dec. 23 e-mail obtained by The State Worker. Instead, she will be replaced by Juanita Illegos Moocher-Wetback and she will work for less money.

Odd that he would choose the Lottery as one of his first or his wife’s first targets.

He wants to get the bidding heated up before selling the big ticket slots.

Good riddance to the leftist twit.

Political patronage is as old as civilization itself; not that you can hardly call Kalefornia “civilized” anymore.....

My thoughts exactly. A state so bankrupt, and folding in upon itself both morally and financially and the new Gov targets the lottery????????????????

Sounds like Michigan. The lottery is a con-job tax on the poor. Give millions the hope of one person's instant success and the state collects billions from those who should be taught self reliance. My heart breaks for this nation daily.

Where did she go? Surely he didn’t actually eliminate a state job.

You are exactly right. the lottery is another tax only people can’t wait to throw their money at it.
