I hope you are wrong. If she is Obama’s Vice President, we are cooked. I can’t see how possibly we can beat that combination. Thankfully I don’t think she would accept a Vice Presidential position. Not when she wants the full title.

I think you naled it at the beginning of your post. Here are some things I believe: Obama is running for re-election, count on it. Hillary won’t run against him. She will take the VP slot.
I don’t share your pessimism though, I think it all depends on our candidate and the economy.
