No papers, no license, no registration, no insurance... they’re starting to run out of “otherwises”.
We need that “Waaaambulance” photo....
Sounds like more of the Hispano-Racist “You are discriminating against Illegal Aliens” nonsense
Why don’t these groups go out an discourage their special interests “not to drink and drive”. Do they think their subjects are that stupid?
QUE LASTIMA! </s>
Careful guys - in a few years these drunken illegals will be citizens and voters if Obama, Huckabee, Rove, Graham, McCain, Reid, and Christie get their way.
If you’re gonna hunt DUIs, ya gotta go where the DUIs are most prevalent.
Works with ducks too.
I always thought checkpoints were a waste of time anyway. I was a pro at sneaking around on the back roads.
” The Southern California Immigration Coalition and the South Central Neighborhood Council claim DUI checkpoints are strategically placed in and around Hispanic communities as a trap to catch unlicensed and undocumented drivers.”
Every day, illegal immigrants from Mexico kill people while driving drunk. Screw em!
What they really mean is that a high numbers of illegals are getting busted at checkpoints
Law enforcement is generally drawn to the spots where the most crime is. Where do the most DUIs pop up? My take is that it’s in areas where they run these stops.
On New Years Eve, where do they triangulate to catch people firing their guns off into the air? In areas where it doesn’t happen, or in areas where it is known to?
As for taking cars, if we don’t have copies of registration, proof of insurance, or (and I believe this is correct, it may not be) a valid driver’s license, guess what happens. A citizen’s car is taken away too.
Above and beyond the fact that we are being bled dry, it’s the call for illegals to get better ‘deals’ than citizens that makes me furious at this situation.
