Those were the days!!! My $400 modem (300 baud was indeed speedy), printing on my $1,000 printer (dot matrix), and even being able to save files on my spiffy new $500 hard drive (10 megabyte Pluc Hardcard drive).

So do I. Strange that it was normal to watch text disply slowly across the screen. Even funnier that this behavior is often duplicated in movies where supposedly much higher tech is being used.
