Not saying your over blowing (pun intended) this a bit but I do recall back in the 1950’s rock and roll was going to lead to the irreparable tearing of our social and moral fabric

Um...looking at our Godless, goth, pierced, tattooed, gaged, spitting & cursing youth (and at's just the high school girls), I'd say it has done some tearing...

I grew up in the 1950s as did my entire generation and R7R was around from about 1955 on. The difference between then and now is not the music it is the lack of parental oversight in the raising of their own children.
