“We need to keep moving forward on states rights and state sovereignty. That is the answer to our problem.”

Well said!

Well said Bump - thanks, Laz.

I came to the realisation that I no longer live in the country my family emigrated to when I saw the horrific result of President “Read my Lips” Bush and Impeached President “No Sex” Clinton machinations at Ruby Ridge and Mount Carmel. Now we’ve got no id Present Soetoro/Obama, and the new Nazi’s are in full bloom!

There have been a couple of threads at FR related to getting on the county steering committees for GOP party politics. It is a fairly easy thing to accomplish if one is willing to commit the time to going tot he meetings and being active. The effect is more powerful than imagined! When it comes time to put a GOP candidate up for primaries, it is the committee power that accomplishes the wishes of the GOP power brokers. To rid the GOP of the infection of rinoism means standing up for what is right at the county steering committee level. Again, as you noted, such an approach takes time and several election cycles to make meaningful change happen, but that is how the bastards running the rino party got it to this state of fecklessness!

Our constitution is already DOA. Recently Republican senate leader Mitch McConnel helped pass the new tax bill. That bill should have started in the house, and because it didn’t it is unconstitutional.

Not one person in congress cared or tried to stop it.

There is no way a state like Massachusetts and Texas should be in the same country. If states do secedes it is an orderly process, people don’t just run around in the streets with AK-47s. You must read way to many novels.

I agree. How despicable that elected jackasses make it so easy, and lawful, for one citizen to prey on another in a time of grief.

Now, how many advocates of armed action have actually fired weapons in anger or seen a civil war first hand?

Now how many advocates of peaceful reform have watched a ounce proud republic devolve "peacefully" to Constitutional Socialist Dictatorship?

Nope. I think we've already turned the corner.

Excessive earmarks -|- TSA -|- unconstitutional Czars -|- the Fed printing trillions.

Exact matches to Line 1. :^(

>>>We need to use the tools that are effective. I’ve outlined why direct violent confrontation is not only ineffective, but counterproductive. That leaves other tools. I strongly suggest we get busy using infiltration and education.<<<

Absolutely, my friend. The left’s progress through our culture was outlined a long time ago by the thinkers in the Frankfurt School and Antonio Gramscii, who said that the left needs to take over the social instruments of culture in what he called “the long march through the institutions.”

Well, their march is just about complete. Here’s the blowback: I’m a high school English teacher. My appreciation for American cultural values, limited government, and the Constitution are expressed every day. For instance, that leftist brainiac in my class just received a copy of “The Federalist Papers.” Sure, he won’t read it for another 15 years, but when he’s ready, the book will be there. My seniors read Solzhenitsyn’s “One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich” - not only a great read, and a Nobel Prize winner, but innoculation against the leftist thought they’ll be filled with at college. Yeah, complain to the school board that I gave a kid a copy of “The Federalist Papers.” LOL

My point? I’m making the long march through THEIR institutions. One of these days our leftist oligarchs will jump up and down and the floor will collapse under them because termites like myself are slowly eroding their authority. I’m not the only one, either. My 12-year-old son considers Al Gore a buffoon because of his portrayal on “South Park.” Every person wandering the radio dial comes across Rush. Consider Sarah Palin’s infiltration of the Internet. Or the character Dash in the film “The Incredibles” telling his mom that saying “everyone is special” is another way of saying “no one is special.” Or the ranking of “Atlas Shrugged” on Amazon.

You’re right about soft tyranny. They don’t have the guts or the strength to go to the lengths of Stalin or Pol Pot, which is to our benefit, but also to our detriment, since their tyranny is seemingly benign. So was a tax on sugar and tea.

My prediction is that one day the left will simply evaporate. When pressed to the wall, they’ll just give up, and then write weepy novels and produce sappy movies about their golden era which never was, and the rest of us will return to our lives.

I hope I’m right. God help us.

This fight, sometimes hot...sometimes cold, has been going on since Marx wrote Das Capital. The fight will go on for generations more. One of the reasons we got a dim Congress and Obama is that conservatives thought the fight was over and got lazy. It’s NEVER OVER. Resign yourselves that you will have to keep fighting the Left for the rest of your days. Believe me, the Left will never give up and neither can we.

Always remember, the first side to resort to violence LOSES in public opinion. If you know any conservatives who are about to cross that line, STOP THEM. Dreaming about some final, epic battle to settle the issue is a fantasy.

However, I think you left out the MOST effective tactic that I have found: VOLUNTEER!

I have donated money, worked in campaigns, gone door-to-door, served as an Election official, gathered intel on vote fraud methods, and prevented vote fraud as a Poll Watcher. Oh yeah, most of you read my short book on how to prevent vote fraud here on FR.

One of the reasons the dims were CRUSHED in Houston in the last election was the non-profit group TrueTheVote.org They hit the polls with over 1000 volunteers and found numerous violations of the law. I served as the Republican Alternate Judge in a dim precinct and documented numerous law violations by the dim Presiding Judge.

You CAN make a difference without eating MREs and getting shot at.

I often meet dim activists when I am working at the polls. They are 100% committed to winning. They make serious sacrifices for their cause. Conservatives will only win when they care more than their opponents.

We must keep up the momentum from November.

What will each of you commit for the 2012 race?

“If states do secede it is an orderly process, people don’t just run around in the streets with AK-47s.”

As it is, I’d have to disagree. The last time it was tried, it was not an orderly process, and folks did run around in the streets with the 1860 equivalents of AK-47’s.

That being said, I do believe that state secession should be allowed, and there should be an ordery and peaceful (and somewhat lenghthy) process for doing so.

After all, we are, in theory, a free people.

And it has always bothered me that the US preaches to the rest of the world about allowing self-determination, but refuses it at home.

At the risk of repeating myself on this thread, a Constitutional Convention is needed.

I would instead urge an all-out attempt to call a Constitutional Convention

Sure. Then all the leftists can enshrine the social utopia right in there. We need to force government back to the written document and work to undo several amendments, the sixteenth and seventeenth for starters. IMNSHO

And what brought those regimes down? Millions of people refusing to cooperate any further. Tens of thousands surrounding key buildings and refusing to leave. People setting seige to parliments. We don't know how those tactics would work here, but again, using history as a guide they seem promising.

The MSM was horrified by the Tea Party and 9/12 rallies in our nations capitol, and went all out to lie about the numbers, organize counter protests, etc. Why? Perhaps they had good reason.

YES INDEED.

Here’s another series on such . . . 9 sections this time:

Interview with Svali—Illuminati Defector pt 1 of 9

That last 12 segment one was about all I could stomach through for a time. I’ve not watched this one yet.

Crowly’s record with little boys was beyond horrific.

Good call! You can not rationalize Freedom or the support of Freedom, you either are willing or you are chicken.

Secondly, all this comparing to Europeans and Russians, does not consider the love of independence and freedom born into most Americans. Those Europeans and Russians have a long history of subservience. That is not to say America could not be overcome, just not as easily as some here contend.

The progressives or communists or what the hell ever they are, are NOT spoiling for a revolutionary confrontation with us, they are hoping we will sleep through their sly behind the scenes take-over.

Ah, no that ISN'T how it happened. Your infantile understand of the first US Civil War taints your thinking.
