Nothing mythical about Jesus´ existence. He vied for the title of moshiach, and must have been devastated when he realized he had failed.

Yet another opportunity arose however as he gradually became the Messiah, which eventually led to the United States which could not have been founded without his influence. Yes, it´s possible that Jesus was/is divine. But the Gospels, written by gentiles disguised as Jews to essentially discredit the Jews, succeeded in doing that more than convincing me that Jesus had transcended Judaism.

What a sly insult to spittle at Jesus and Christians! Failed? ... You really know what He is said to have accomplished and many many confirm in their lives, so that little insult is duly noted. As to your specious assertion, a student of Rabbi Gamaliel wrote the largest percentage of the New Testament after the Gospels. And Paul started writing his letters within no more than a decade after the Ascension.
