Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, leaving the funeral of a murdered Border Patrol agent Wednesday, scolded a reporter for asking her to address the victim's family's concerns that not enough is being done to secure the southern border.
The family of agent Brian Terry had complained that Napolitano had offered them "empty words" when she called to express her condolences. Terry's father, Kent Terry, in an interview with ABC affiliate KGUN, said he told Napolitano to "wake your man up in the White House," to which she replied that he's done more in two years than any president.
Napolitano attended the Detroit funeral Wednesday where she vowed "swift justice" for Terry's killers. But asked about the family's concerns outside the service, Napolitano said "now is not the time to talk about all that has been done."
She said more agents and technology are on the border than ever before, but told the KGUN reporter it's time to remember the fallen agent and not start picking fights.

Actually, the funeral was NOT a time for the reporter to pick a flight with anyone.

BTW I disagree with the Trib employee that what Mrs. Mendoza said was a vulgarity.. it merely means that President Clinton was incompetent. But hey! the Trib employee is probably a Clinton butt boy -- now that's a vulgarity!

Clearly, someone has the laughably old fashioned notion that our public servants are employed to serve the public. They long ago became our Masters, despite all the blather in that out-dated US Constitution.
is there anywhere at all these reports of bean-bag rounds have been substantiated or verified, I would like to start to get the word out about this, but there is always so much hearsay and 3rd hand info after an incident like this, I hesitate.

Napolitano has a lot of nerve to answer a grieving father’s concern about a do nothing president with a political talking point... that is base... do any of these people have any soul inside them at all? My God.
What is she talking about, he’s “done more than any other President”? He’s done NOTHING but try to push amnesties!
